This story is about somebody very close to my heart, someone who surprises and amazes me every step of the way. This someone is my darling niece who is currently visiting my parents back in India. I made a phone call to chat with all of them and it turns out they were in the car heading for dinner.
I chatted with all my family and finally asked for her and she refused to come on the phone - I could hear her in the background saying "I'm not in the mood" and she repeated that everytime they asked her. Then she told my mom to tell me that - 'right now she is travelling and that she will talk to me when she is home'.
On further persuasion on my parents part she finally delivered the punchline - "Tell her I have left my mood at home"
My niece just turned 3 this July.
Alright - I understand the concept of mind over matter - but for a 3 year old to consider her mind separate from her body just blew my mind!
